Xiaocheng Wang graduated from Shandong University with a bachelor degree and obtained her master and doctor degrees at the School of Education, Korea University. She currently works as an associate professor at the Department of Education, School of Humanities, 18新利体育备用网址 In 2019, she was selected in theHigh-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents Introduction Program of JiangsuProvince of China. She has actively engaged in reading research for a long time, with particular expertise in reading motivation, reading engagement, adolescent literacy, and digital reading. She has published extensively in Chinese and international journals, including Chinese Social Science Citation Index journals such asCurriculum, Teaching Material and Method,Studies of Psychology and Behavior,Journal of Capital Normal University, and Social Science Citation Index journals such asJournal of Literacy Research,Journal of Research in Reading,Frontiers in Psychology, and Korea Citation Index journals such asJournal of Reading Research,Korean Language Education, andJournal ofCurriculum and Evaluation.Moreover, she has published several academic books includingAdolescent readers’ book selectionand influencing factorsandReading literacy in a digital era: Inspirations from PIRLS and PISA.
