He has published over 80 academic papers in journals such asJournal of Higher Education,Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method,Global Education,Educational Research and Experiment,Teacher Education Research,E-education Research,Journal of Distance Education,China Education Daily, andGuangming Daily.He hasalso published8 books andtextbooks.
Dr. Tian haspresided overmore than 10 research projectsfunded by the National Social ScienceFoundation, the Ministry of EducationFoundation onHumanities and Social Science, theNewLiberal ArtsConstruction Projectof the Ministry of Education, and the Education Planning Project of Jiangsu Province.
He has received awards such as the Third Prize of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangsu Province, the Second Prize of Teaching Achievementof Jiansu Province, and the First Prize of National Teaching Achievement. Dr. Tian haslednearly 20 provincial andnationalprojectson teacher training.
