Research Areas

The main research direction of Zhou is artificial enzymes, for example, through biological and chemical techniques, new artificial enzymes can be efficiently constructed to achieve unnatural reactions catalyzed by artificial enzymes. It realizes unnatural reactions catalyzed by artificial enzymes, clarifies the mechanism of new enzymatic catalyzed reactions and expands the scope of enzymatic catalyzed reactions and the application of enzymes in synthetic biology. In recent years, he has published a number of high level papers in international authoritative academic journals, including Nature Catalysis, Nature Chemistry, ACS Catalysis, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed, etc.
