Research Experience and Skills

·Biomedical materials for tissue engineering

Biomedical materials with different functions are designed and prepared for tissue engineering, such as blood vessel regeneration, nerve repair, dura grafts and so on. These materials are made of natural polysaccharides or protein to mimic extracellular matrix.

·Controlled drug delivery system based on nanoparticles

“Smart” drug delivery system based on nanoparticles were synthesized and applied in the antibacterial and anticancer studies. By conjugation of functional moieties on the surface of nanoparticles, the nanomedicine can target transport and controlled release of drugs.
