Dr. Xi Chen is primarily involved in biomedical research concerning modified natural polymer materials.He received his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Pure and Applied Science, University of Tsukuba, in 2020. After his post-doctoral training at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), he joined the School of Life Sciences and Health Engineering at Jiangnan University as an associate Professor in 2021.With an impressive publication record of 16 SCI papers, he has led several national and enterprise-level projects since returning to China. Additionally, he has contributed to the advancement of medical technology through participation in research projects with the Japan Medical Research and Development Agency (AMED) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). His contributions have earned him four scientific research awards, and he was recently selected for the prestigious "Feifeng Talent" cultivation project in Xinwu District.
