When the Spring Festival is around the corner, the international student apartment of Jiangnan University, decorated with red balloons and Chinese knots, is filled with intensely festive atmosphere. On the morning of Jan. 19, Du Guocheng, Deputy President of Jiangnan University, accompanied by Gong Xiaobin and Wang Yin, Dean and Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, came to the Chunyuan International Student Apartment to pay a call on the international students still staying on campus during the Spring Festival and sent them festive greetings and Chinese New Year wishes.

Du Guocheng had cordial talks with foreign students and asked about their study and life as well as holiday arrangements in details. He repeatedly advised them to pay attention to personal protection and keep both physical and mental health. He looked forward a happy and auspicious Spring Festival for them. He and other administrative leaders in charge of international students also gave anti-epidemic gift packages, Spring Festival Greeting packages and New Year’s red envelopes to the foreign students. The international students expressed their gratitude for the care and the help of the university and presented carefully selected Chinese New Year cards to the teachers together with sincere greetings. The teachers and the students had a warm conversation on this joyous occasion.
